A very large and elegant ivory Santa figure holding a staff and tree and an owl perched on his shoulder. Beautifully finished with a vintage, old world style this wooden Santa stands 18 inches in height and about 12 inches from tree to staff. He has a wonderfully detailed face and eyes. The tree, staff and owl are individually carved, solid wood and either pegged or wired to the Santa. Original folk art Santa design by Ed Pribyl. Hand carved solid wood, painted in multiple layers with his own antique mix, finished in vintage fashion and signed on the bottom. A stunning collector's piece.
